Franz & Wach Personalservice has always attached great importance to occupational safety. The occupational safety management system, which has been tried and tested for years and is practiced at all 25 locations, has now been audited and certified at the Mannheim site.
At Franz & Wach, a full-time employee takes care of the Occupational safety specialist (FASI for short) takes care of all matters. This includes, above all, the Risk assessment which must be drawn up for each individual workstation - and before our colleague assigned there starts work. In any case, the workplace is inspected by the responsible HR consultant and the customer's contact person. The risk assessment describes which injury hazards and health risks are associated with a particular activity or workplace. On this basis, the necessary instructions are defined and the required Personal protective equipment defined. At the same time, it is discussed which aptitude tests temporary employees must take before they are allowed to start working here. The FASI often accompanies the personnel consultant during these appointments. This applies in particular to new customers and customers with special requirements.
Stefan Engelmayerwho has filled the position of FASI for more than 12 years, knows the special conditions that employee leasing entails inside out. Over the years, he has visited a great many companies in all sectors and of all sizes. He is also a sought-after contact for the occupational safety officers of client companies. "I don't want to talk about the proverbial "company blindness," but in fact you see danger spots even differently when you walk through the plant with a second expert. In this way, we often find weak points together that had not been noticed before. Or we find a new solution for a known problem" Stefan Engelmayer reports on the importance of the consulting competence of a personnel service provider.
The occupational safety specialist is also responsible for the Monitoring the deadlines responsible. For example, instruction must be repeated on a regular basis. Changes to occupational safety regulations must be integrated into processes. It must be monitored whether new health examinations become necessary. Employees regularly receive invitations to additional, voluntary health examinations, which are then often planned and carried out together with Franz & Wach's company physician.
Franz & Wach's occupational safety management system has now been certified by the independent certification company PÜG Prüf- und Überwachungsgesellschaft mbH at Mannheim location reviewed. The basis of the review was compliance with all provisions of the ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety management). For this purpose the Processes and procedures in the branch and in customer operations considered. FASI Stefan Engelmayer, Branch Manager Kerstin Wolff and her team were available to answer the questions of the auditors and willingly provided insight into the processes.
The inspection was carried out without any objections. As confirmation, Franz & Wach now received the Safety Certificate Personnel Service Provider (SCP) handed over. We are pleased about the well-deserved award for our occupational health and safety management system.
