Soccer unites, because no matter where we come from: The soccer field inspires everyone. As a result of this worldwide passion, our company sports team recently gained reinforcement from asylum seekers from the Crailsheim region, who are now keeping fit together with us.
Franz & Wach employees play soccer together with refugees
The Franz & Wach company athletes meet regularly for the Soccer training. In order to put two teams on the legs, the Crailsheimer team lacked so far however still a little bit Mitspielern and thus we came on the idea, us at the Circle of Friends Asylum to turn to. This in turn informed the here living Refugees and quickly established contact with sports enthusiasts from countries such as Gambia, Syria and Afghanistan.
This was extremely well received and our team has been strengthened by up to ten additional players for several weeks. The joint training makes several important contributions to the Integration. Through the joint exchange, the asylum seekers improve their language skills and establish contacts with one of the largest employers. Of course, we all enjoy soccer and so the employees of Franz & Wach are happy about new training partners and new friendships.
At Franz & Wach, every employee can take one day off a year to participate in a charitable campaign. Our Munich colleagues have now launched the pilot project.
