At an airport there are different jobs around handling, check-in, machine maintenance and logistics. Franz & Wach arranges jobs for various customers at the airports in Berlin and Munich.

The airport is a workplace with a very special atmosphere. Where thousands of people go on vacation or business trips every day, employees also feel the excited, euphoric atmosphere during work. Just like a small town, the airport has a complete infrastructure with stores, banks, restaurants and a wide variety of services. The jobs that can be found here are correspondingly diverse.

The personnel services provider Franz & Wach supports the Airports in Berlin and Munich active companies in filling vacant positions. This is done predominantly within the framework of temporary employment, and in some cases also within the framework of direct placement in permanent positions. "Most of our employees are in the Aircraft and baggage handling busy," reports Benjamin stone from Franz & Wach Airport Service Team at the Berlin site. "But also Warehousemen, Transport employee and commercial staff we regularly refer to our customers." 

Airport jobs are in high demand. However, before employment is possible, applicants must have a longer recruitment process through. Depending on the activity, medical examinations, dangerous goods training and apron driver's license must be completed in addition to the background check and aviation security training. The total cost for the necessary examinations, training and the safety card Franz & Wach takes over for the potential employees.

The working language in the dispatch department is primarily German. Appropriate language skills are therefore just as important for applicants as physical resilience. Flight operations are from early morning until late at night and also on weekends. However, the resulting shift work also brings the advantage of high salary supplements.  

The mandatory requirement for employment in the security area of the airport is a clean criminal record. In aircraft and baggage handling, a Class B driver's license is required. Depending on the job and the requirements, the recruitment formalities can take several weeks.
