The airport is a workplace with a very special atmosphere. Where thousands of people go on vacation or business trips every day, employees also feel the excited, euphoric atmosphere during work. The working language in the dispatch department is primarily German. Appropriate language skills are therefore just as important for applicants as physical resilience. Flight operations are from early morning until late at night and also on weekends. However, the resulting shift work also brings the advantage of high salary supplements.
The mandatory requirement for employment in the security area of the airport is a clean criminal record. In aircraft and baggage handling, a Class B driver's license is required. Depending on the job and the requirements, the recruitment formalities can take several weeks.
