On the initiative of our Fililal team in Nuremberg, Franz & Wach has decided to support the Lilith addiction support association.
Lilith e.V.has been explicitly caring for drug-addicted women in the Franconian metropolis since 1993. The association's various facilities include, among others, a Advice center, a Women's Café and a Mother and Child Program. Multiple Street workers are out on the streets and go directly to the women there. In two work projects, more than 20 affected women get a job, these are the House service ACTIV and Liliths Second Hand Shop.
The basic idea is to give currently or formerly drug-using women an occupation through a meaningful activity in which they can develop self-confidence again and qualify for the primary labor market. Basically, the people in charge at Lilith are moved by the same motivation as us at Franz & Wach, namely the passion, Supporting people in their personal development and identifying opportunities.
Therefore, we have decided to create a Wage sponsorship with Lilith to take over. This means that at least one job can be secured for one year. Michaela Danner, head of the Franz & Wach Nuremberg Branch took a look at the facilities on site and heard from managing director Daniela Dahm the Have projects explained. This also includes the photo shown above in Liliths Second Hand Shop entstanden. There, high-quality clothing for women is washed, refurbished and, if necessary, repaired, and then resold for the benefit of the projects. The store has long since ceased to be an insider tip and has become a popular sales address.
Franz & Wach is just as happy as the Lilith association about the new partnership. Together we have a Press release which can be read in our Newsroom:
