What Franz & Wach is all about is its own employees. Promoting them is of central importance to us. With the Impulse days we have now added a further building block to the personnel development concept, which targets the holistic development of our colleagues. Holistic in the sense of professional, methodological, social and personal competencies - all coordinated with each other.
The group of participants meets regularly for a few days away from the workplace over a period of around two years. They include experienced managers as well as talented young employees who are trained by the professional trainers from Polei Coaching be guided. In order to achieve the important building blocks Team building, Value transfer, Communication improvement and Sales success tasks are deliberately approached in a playful and thoroughly unconventional way. Observing the role behavior of horses or communicating without talking, all this sounds bizarre at first, but the method has a system. The goal is to expand familiar patterns of thought and behavior, to train empathy, and to subsequently take the new skills into a profession where entirely human matters are involved.
Now games are not always equally easy. In any case, our participants felt quite exhausted in the evening, but equally enriched. Of course, we had arranged something to fortify ourselves, such as a joint barbecue meal in the tepee tent. The group members really enjoyed all this, as Christopher Dekle, team assistant in Crailsheim, reports: "The atmosphere was great, and that throughout the group. Although many of us come from branches far away from each other, a close feeling of togetherness developed in a very short time. The Impulse Days are top-notch, I'm already looking forward to the next meeting."
