In our estimation, this will not change any time soon, despite all the efforts of the Federal Minister of Health Jens Spahn despite this. The planned 8,000 nursing positions and the simplified recognition of foreign qualifications in the nursing sector only address the symptoms without solving the problem.

As a result, more and more care workers will probably recognize the advantage they derive from employment with a reputable personnel service provider with experience in the care sector. Or as Sylvia Bühler, board member at the Verdi trade union and responsible for nursing there, puts it: "I can't accuse switchers to temporary work of being aware of their market value, wanting to earn more money and work under better conditions." (Handelsblatt)
