Many employees will be better off as a result of the change.

As of July 1, 2020, pay groups 2 to 4 in the collective agreement for temporary staffing will be redefined. Franz & Wach explains the changes in a short explanatory film, which is linked here is. As always, we will implement the new regulations punctually on the 1st day of validity.

The most serious change is in the previous pay group 2, which is now divided into the two new pay groups 2a and 2b. This initially results in advantages for employees with qualifications such as a forklift license or a welding certificate. In fact, however, it has to be said that Franz & Wach generally pays employees wages that are above the collective wage agreement anyway.

The changes in the BAP/DGB collective wage agreement as of 1.7.2020

  • Pay group 2 is split into pay groups 2a and 2b. The pay groups are described as follows:
    • EC 2a: Activities requiring a period of training, specialized work experience or specialized knowledge.
    • EC 2b: Activities requiring a specialist qualification
  • EG 3: Activities requiring two years of training
  • EG 4: Activities requiring three years of training
  • The automatic upgrading of the temporary employee from EG 3 to EG 4 after one year of employment with the company is discontinued.

At www.franz-wach.de/tarif you will find a listing of all changes from the last collective agreement
